DUTIES: Install, deploy, troubleshoot and monitor enterprise applications on WAS 6.0/6.1, Portal server 5.x/6.x/6.1 in AIX, HP, Linux, Windows Oracle environment. Maintain server configurations for different stages of development such as SIT, FQT and production and works with system operations to handle critical system backups and resolve performance problems. Perform Portal/WAS migration from 5.1 to 6.0 to 6.1 & WAS 6.0.2.x to 6.1.x. Perform trouble shooting and performance tuning using Resource analyzer and log analyzer. Configure the Web Server interfaces, session management, virtual hosts and transports for web sphere applications servers. Design test plans, scripts and test cases. Perform unit, integration, performance, and load testing of web and client/server based software applications. Use: Oracle10g, IBM AIX, WAS/Portal server, IIS, Linux, DB2.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or Equivalent and two years of experience Or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or Equivalent and five years of experience.
